We keep your data only as long as it's useful to you, and we give you a way to delete it. This page explains how long each kind of data is kept and what happens when you ask us to remove it.
How long we keep things
- Face-scan photos — kept while your account is active so you can revisit and compare past scans. You can delete them at any time, and they are removed when you delete your account. Photos from accounts that stay inactive for 12 months are automatically purged.
- Scan insights, skin profile & routine — kept for the life of your account and deleted when you delete your account.
- Email & contact details — kept until you unsubscribe and delete your account.
- Privacy-safe usage data— kept in aggregate to understand and improve the app; it isn’t tied to your identity.
Photos at our analysis provider
When you run a scan, the photo is sent to our skin-analysis provider only to produce your result; it is not retained there beyond processing. See the Privacy Policy for the providers we use.
Deleting your data
You can delete your scan photos directly in the app at any time. When you delete a scan or your account, the stored image is removed before its record, so nothing is left behind. To request deletion of your account and personal data, use the account options in the app’s Settings, or email support@rituelle.ai. See our Privacy Policy for your full rights over your data.
