What Rituelle is — and isn’t

Rituelle provides cosmetic guidance about the appearance of your skin and suggests skincare routines and products. It is for general informational purposes only.

• Rituelle does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition.
• It is not a medical device and is not intended to serve the same purpose as one.
• It is not a substitute for professional medical advice. If you have a concern about your skin or health, talk to a qualified professional.
• Skin scores and scan insights are illustrative, not measurements, and some metrics are inferred from appearance rather than directly measured.

Using Rituelle

• You must be old enough to consent to processing your data where you live.
• Provide accurate information and use Rituelle for your own personal, non-commercial use.
• Don’t misuse the service — no scraping, reverse engineering, or interfering with its operation.

The AI assistant

Rituelle includes an assistant powered by AI. Its replies are generated automatically, may be imperfect, and are general cosmetic guidance — not medical advice. We apply guardrails so it stays within cosmetic-appearance topics.

Your content and photos

You keep ownership of the photos and information you provide. You grant us permission to process them only to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

A face photo is sensitive data, so the two things that happen to it are set out here rather than only in the policy we link to. When you take a skin scan:

• It is analyzed by a third party. The photo is sent to our third-party skin-analysis provider, which processes it to return findings about how your skin appears. It is not shared with anyone else and it is never sold.
• We store it. We store your face-scan photos privately in your account, so you can revisit and compare past scans, and we keep them while your account is active.
• You can remove it. You can delete any scan and its photo at any time, and all of them are deleted when you delete your account. See our Data Retention schedule for the full windows.

We don’t use your face photos to identify you, to train models, or for advertising.

Plans and billing

Rituelle is free to download and use. Rituelle Premium is an optional paid subscription that unlocks the full companion — your personalised routine, unlimited questions, and long-term tracking of how your skin changes.

Premium is purchased and managed on our website. The current price, the billing period and the renewal date are shown at checkout before you are charged — we don’t restate the price here, so that what you read and what you are billed can never drift apart. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled, you can cancel at any time, and cancelling is as easy as subscribing. Cancelling stops the next renewal; access continues to the end of the period you have paid for.

Some accounts created before Premium launched retain full access at no cost. That access continues for as long as those accounts remain active.

Disclaimers and liability

Rituelle is provided “as is.” To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the service. Nothing here limits rights you have under applicable law.
